LOW BACK
PAIN

Studies have shown that 80% of adults will experience back pain at some point in their lives and is one of the most common complaints we see at our clinic.

Lower back pain has many causes which include lifestyle factors such as:

  • Physical inactivity

  • Physical factors (e.g. acute injury and whiplash)

  • Psychosocial factors

  • Ergonomics

We will conduct a thorough history and physical assessment to determine the most appropriate treatment to reduce your pain, improve overall spinal mobility, strength and control.

Treatments can include:

  • Education and advice

  • Manual therapy (soft tissue massage, joint mobilisations, dry needling)

  • Exercise prescription to speed up recovery and reduce the risk of the recurrence of low back pain.
